One of the many struggles of being a writer...
having a BRILLIANT story idea when you wake up in the morning, and then, because of a busy schedule, having it burn inside your mind without having a chance to start writing it down! I could have several pages written and 2-3 characters completely planned out by now... Oh well, homework and exams take priority...

What's even worse is when, finally able to sit down and write the idea out, you realize that you have forgotten half of it... Sad face. It's happened to me a lot. I've taken to trying to put a few key words in a note on my phone so I won't forget it all. Not that that system's perfect, but...
